T Bridge (BV TECH) is pleased to announce the start of the focus group phase with the associations for the GIANO project

Citizen Digital Twins: a new recommendation system accessible, inclusive and safe for all citizens of Genoa

20/05/2024

T Bridge (BV TECH) announces the start of the focus group phase with the associations for the GIANO project. The project, born from the strong need to reverse the process of searching for information concerning the state of the city and citizens’ services, aims at the conception and development of a new system of recommendation on accessible, inclusive and secure citizens’ services. GIANO focuses on the experiences, needs and perspectives of users: listening, understanding and integrating the feedback of the final subjects to create solutions that really make the difference.

The goal is to create a Citizen’s Digital Twin, which dialogues with the city’s digital services. In particular, the Digital Twin will keep information on the state of the Citizen, along with its traits and abilities; it will periodically connect with the services of the city that most likely affect its well-being; will provide suggestions to the Citizen automatically, avoiding him to search each time different information on different portals.

GIANO is a project funded by the Call for Industrial Research and Experimental Development projects in the domains of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics RAISE – technologies for health (Urban technologies for inclusive engagement – Spoke 1, coordinated by the National Research Council and co-coordinated by the Italian Institute of Technology). Implemented as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, Mission 4 funded by the European Union -NextGenerationEU.
