Innovation at national and international level

For BV TECH the Research & Development sector is a fundamental competitive factor. It is the key tool for exploring innovative technologies and application domains, creating connections with new customers and potential partners in a “non-competitive” context of common interest, enhancing industrial experiences and skills gained over the years, while exploring new technological solutions and process solutions that are alternatives to conventional ones and enrich the solutions proposed to customers with unique elements (patents).

Continuous collaboration with Universities and Research Centres

BV TECH is a member of the Consorzio Milano Ricerche, a “non-profit organisation (Consortium) aimed at promoting and managing research and innovation through the development of projects that are proposed jointly by universities, research centres, industries and SMEs”.

We are the founder and continue to be a member ofPolo di Innovazione per le Tecnologie della Salute (Innovation Hub for Health Technologies) and of theInterdisciplinary Consortium for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity (IC)3 at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

The implementation of research activities is distributed between the Group’s companies, with the majority going to our Operational Unit in Lamezia Terme, where it is then assigned to the individual Business Units of each company based on a criterion of competence and synergy with the overall goal.

BV TECH also participates in regional, national and community subsidized finance programs for the study and development of innovative technological platforms in the following main areas of interest: eHealth; Security (of Homeland, Information, Cyberspace and Critical Infrastructure); Smart Cities and Government; Transport and Logistics.
