An exercise scenario to train cyber operations specialists
As part of the Cyber Effects Week 2021, held at the Defence Network Operations Command, BV TECH presented an exercise scenario aimed at Defence cyber operations specialists, based on the use of its Cyber Range.
A detailed and realistic attack scenario
The definition of a particularly complex and realistic attack scenario was a challenging exercise and allowed specialists’ skills to be put to the test.
The training value of the exercise was completed by a detailed debriefing, which included the description and analysis of all vulnerabilities and planned actions.
This activity received extremely positive feedback, and constitutes as a success in the development of advanced technologies at a national level in the cyber security sector and in the ability to rapidly deploy and implement complex exercise scenarios.
BV TECH Cyber Range, integrated with the ability to model physical systems (cyber physical systems) developed in collaboration with the MIT in Boston, made it possible to simulate an attack scenario against a control system and verify its effects.
