Cybersecurity and SOC Suite of services
Research and development activities with the involvement of MIT in Boston and UNIBA
The Progetto Puglia project, with the involvement of MIT in Boston and the Aldo Moro University of Bari, involves research activities aimed at developing innovative skills and a series of products for the management of IT security for small and medium-sized companies.
The industrial research and experimental development activities will refer to a specific use case, which is represented by the process of protecting assets and mitigating the effects of cyber threats, which is typically used within a Security Operation Center (SOC) that monitors and manages a significant number of security devices and applications installed on a variety of customer company networks.
Research, Development, Innovation
Lately, a new business model linked to the management of IT security is emerging. This is based on Managed Security Services, in which the management of the SIEM to which a company’s security equipment is connected is entrusted to an external company.
This type of service is typically aimed at small and medium-sized companies that are unable to manage in-house problems, due to reduced technical expertise and budget.
At a national level, the design of a range of security solutions in line with the most advanced secure software development methodologies, while using the most advanced technologies, represents a strategic element for the creation of an effective defence of the country system from the cyber threat.
