In the context of the dissemination of the results of the research activities carried out by BV TECH within the Programme Contract last December 15, at the University of Bari, colleagues of the cyberlab of Grottaglie presented their work to students of the master’s degree in Computer Science.

As part of the laboratory exercises provided by the cryptography course held by Prof. Stefano Galantucci of the Intelligent Systems Laboratory, the activity was carried out in guided mode and aimed at the consolidation and experimental verification of the notions learned in the classroom related to the use of encryption techniques in the context of computer security, based on the model of competitions type CTF (Capture The Flag).

The students realized this on a scenario of structured exercise “ad hoc” for educational needs using the prototype of the Cyber Range BV TECH, within which there are some components of CyberSuite such as NGFW, IDS and SIEM, finding great interest among participating students and encouraging future recruitment activities.
